Welcome to
Oceana Australian Shepherds. Let me introduce myself, my
name is Kathy. I was first introduced to the Australian
Shepherd when I moved to California in
1968.
I began showing
Aussies the early 90's and I have had the pleasure
of attending eleven National Specialties and qualifying
three dogs for consecutive Conformation Invitational
held at the ASCA National Specialty.
Since this
incredible journey began I have had the privilege of
meeting many new friends, grooming, handling and
traveling with some of the nicest dogs in California. I
am an active member of the Australian Shepherd Club of
San Diego County and Ocean View Australian Shepherd
Club.
These adventures led
to my passion for graphic arts, web design and
advertising layouts. Samples of some my work are

Nik Nak Eye Opener @ Sundown
Lewis finished his
Championship with a 3 pt major, Best of Winners and a Best of
Breed over Specials at ASCSDC shows 12-6-09 under judge Phyliss
Del Muro.
Lewis picked up another
Best of Breed his first time out as a Special at the afternoon
show under judge Marion McPherson.

ASCA National Specialty Highlights
ASCA/AKC Ch Hatcreeks No
Deposit No Return "Bernie" won the Veteran Dog 13+ class at
Nationals, as well as, picking up nice class placements at
pre-shows in the 10 and up classes.
I had so much fun showing Bernie
at Nationals. He still has that "look at me attitude" and that
fabulous, floating side gait.
Nik Naks Eye Opener @ Sundown,
Bernie's son Lewis, was 2nd place in Open Red Merle Dog at
National Specialty. Lewis also had class placements at the
Pre-Shows.
